For people who don’t carry a wallet the pockets are great for bank cards/hotel key, thigh pockets with a button and notes/coins, especially the pockets with the zips. iPhone 15pro fits nicely in the back left pocket ✌️.

i walked 1400km in these shorts wearing them for 60 days straight and they were great
they're comfy, breathable and give great movement range. They don't get stinky even after days on the trail and they dry quickly when wet/washed.
the increased movement range and extra pockets means i like these shorts better than patagonia baggies or macpac wingers for the trail

Just wanted to put another review out about size to make people feel more comfortable ordering $120 pair without trying them on.
Ordered them 3 days ago and have them now. So very quick. I am normally a 34 in shorts and a 35 in long pants. So I was a bit uneasy when the size guide said I was a 32. BUT! They fit amazing. Haven't worn them hiking yet but done the normal tests. Squat, high step, and long step ahead. All are great and a very nice stretch without any problems.
Follow the size guide. You can't go wrong :)

Super great looking shorts, definitely going to wear these on all my future hikes. They just look a bit billow-y (wide) around my legs. Maybe this gives them better mobility or something but I might get them tailored to look a bit more normal on me. Will wear them on a couple hikes first to see if I like the extra space.
